Sandy McNeely
"Prior to coming to Cleveland CC I owned a beauty shop that was in my home. I was a wife and mother of two little girls and decided to start working as a teacher's assistant at Township Three Elementary School. The teacher I worked with began encouraging me to go back to school. Once I decided to further my education, I knew the only way I could start was if I could do it economically. The cost, plus the convenience of CCC, was really the only way I could pursue my dream.
"The instructors and the lessons they taught provided an excellent foundation and instilled in me the confidence and desire to continue working toward my own career in education. I felt so prepared by CCC that I went on to get my Bachelor's degree in Education from Gardner-Webb University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I now have a Master of Arts in Supervision and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and I know all of this would not have been possible without such a great start at CCC."
"Currently I am the Principal at Union Elementary School in the Cleveland County School System. Everything I have accomplished would have been impossible without Cleveland Community College."
