Mark Collins
Mark Collins is the Rockingham County Area Executive at BB&T in Eden.
After attending Rockingham Community College and North Carolina State University, Mark graduated from UNCG. He says his educational and business success is a reflection of the caliber of education he received at RCC.
For years he has served in executive roles on the college's foundation but in 2006 he accepted the special role as trustee of his former alma mater.
“Serving is a way for me to give back to the college and the community. Looking back, I can see what it did for me, but I can also see what it can do for the future of our county and its people.”
And from a banking perspective, Collins says RCC offers an educated employee base poised to meet the needs of new, existing and expanding industries and businesses.
