Faye Brown
Faye Brown credits Wayne Community College with completely changing her life after she was laid off.
“I was an 'older' student who had been in the workforce for years. I was very unsure of myself and nervous about going back to school. The first few months were spent learning how to learn again. I received an education at Wayne, but I also developed skills and talents that I did not know that I had. The two years that I was at Wayne were hard and at times stressful, but it was two of the best years of my life,” said Faye.
Not only did she earn an AAS in Office Systems Technology, “But equally important, I acquired self-esteem and developed better communication skills in the process. These accomplishments enabled me to obtain a job position that I enjoy.”
